Work Experience/Internships

Acquire valuable work experience in your chosen degree field and develop a network of contacts. Undergraduate internships lend support towards achieving projects or low-level tasks, and provide an opportunity to understand better potential permanent roles following education. At the end of the internship, a character reference and review is provided

You must be:
18 years old or over
Studying for a degree (relevant to the department you would like to gain experience in)

The placement:
Lasts from one to four weeks
Hours are by agreement with the placement department
You will support a business project with low-level job requirements
You will receive support and guidance, along with feedback for your professional portfolio
You must adhere to company policies and procedures, act professionally at all times and observe business dress code standards

The pay:
Undergraduate work experience unpaid

The process:
Placements are decided upon by the department and include a project brief
Placement requests can be made by emailing, along with a copy of your CV.
If successful you will meet with a member of the HR Team and the placement manager
The HR Department will arrange a welcome day for the successful student
